N.C. Eggs: The market is steady on all sizes. Supplies are moderate. Retail demand is moderate. Weighted average prices for small lot sales of grade A eggs delivered to nearby retail outlets: Extra Large 135.24, Large 130.59, Medium 101.86, and Small 82.00.

Strawberries: supply fairly light. Demand is good. Report issued Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Includes palletizing and cooling. Flats of 8 1-pound containers with lids medium-large 13.00-14.00 some low as 12.00 occasional high as 14.50
Cotton: The strict-low-middling one and one sixteenth South East average price is 66.59 cents per pound, the U.S. average is 64.92 cents per pound.
U.S. 2 yellow shelled corn was 2 to 3 cents higher when compared to last report. Prices ranged $4.13-$4.58 at feed mills and $3.98-$4.38 at elevators; new crop $3.86-4.49. U.S. 1 yellow soybeans were mostly 11 cents higher; prices were $10.18-$10.23 at the processors and ranged $9.53-$9.99 at the elevators; new crop $9.21-$9.62. U.S. 2 soft red winter wheat was 2 cent higher; prices were $4.43 at the feed mills; new crop $4.04-$4.48. Soybean meal, f.o.b. at processing plants, was $384.20 per ton for 48% protein.
