How are you getting ready for Christmas, Commissioner?

• Well, this Christmas I have six grandchildren to join in the traditions. Our family now numbers 14!
• Our theme is “48 Hours of Christmas” and we focus on our blessings, the joy of gifting, outdoor activities, and a whole lot of eating.
• One of our annual highlights is posing for an expanding family nativity scene picture and young Fitz gets the starring role of the babe in the manger.
• We plan to gather the family around our table this Christmas with a meal that will feature our favorite Certified SC grown products.
• The forecast is calling for a very cold Christmas weekend. I’ll be thinking of our farmers across the state.
• Blanche and I sincerely hope you and your family have a joyous holiday season.
