North Carolina's Ag Commissioner Steve Troxler has some alarming statistics about wildfires in the first four months of 2012, and their cause…burning of yard waste.
Due to this common, yet preventable cause, the NC Forestry Service has begun an awareness advertising campaign in print, TV and radio that will go through the middle of May. The Public Service Announcements were paid for with a federal grant.
