Got To Be NC Festival Coming Up

It’s time to start talking about the Got to Be NC Festival.

“We will be having fun and celebrating NC’s agricultural heritage and the great food produced right here. Our food and wine expo this year is expanding to include NC craft breweries. There are a lot of great ones in NC and we hope to spin off another enterprise of raising local hops here in the state.

It’s a great family event and we hope that everyone will come out. There is a lot to do for kids. At the Mason’s Carolina Pig Jig you can come out and eat BBQ on Saturday. Or you can buy NC Seafood from the Shriners all three days at the festival. Both support charities that help children in our state. It’s good food for a worthy cause.

The festival has free admission and free parking. We have hands on agricultural activities for kids at the agricultural plaza. There are also racing pigs every day. There will be antique tractors and farm equipment as well.

The Got to Be NC Festival is Friday through Sunday at the state fairgrounds.” is dedicated to serving the agricultural industry in the Carolinas and Virginia with the latest ag news, exclusive regional weather station readings, and key crop market information.
