The N.C. Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services is looking for farms that have been in continual family ownership for 100 years or more to apply to be part of the Century Farm Family program. This year on Oct. 21 we will hold the Century Farm Family Reunion at the State Fair in Raleigh.

Applications are now being accepted for up to 25 $2,000 N.C. State Fair Junior Livestock Scholarships available for youth who participated in the N.C. State Fair livestock shows. The scholarships can used for institutes of higher learning, including community colleges and technical schools. The deadline to apply is March 1.
