Agritourism conference slated for Stanly County March 13

WHAT: The N.C. Agritourism Networking Association will host a conference titled, “Growth and Prosperity in Your Future,” for farmers interested in learning more about the economic benefits of agritourism. The event includes speakers from regional agritourism farms, as well as economic-development specialists.

WHO: Scheduled speakers are Jim Cogdell, The Fork Farm; Andre Nabors, N.C. Department of Commerce; Guido van der Hoeven, N.C. State University; Jim Little, Riverbend Farm; John and Tina Gross, Gross Farm; Bonnie Griffin, Aw Shucks; and Vicky Porter, The Farm at Brusharbor.
