Ag Development Forum a Success
North Carolina's Ag Commissioner Steve Troxler says that the 7th Annual Ag Development Forum was a great success this year. Now, the commissioner is headed to Washington, DC to discuss ag-related issues with other ag commissioners throughout the US. One of two hot topics that the commissioner plans to take up while in DC is the reorganization of the National Ag Statistics Service with Ag Secretary Tom Vilsack. Also, immigration and a guest worker program will also be a topic of discussion.
