The third annual Certified SC Showcase is coming up, and Commissioner Weathers is here to fill us in.
The Showcase is a networking event and celebration of Certified South Carolina flavors and innovations.
The Showcase provides an opportunity for buyers and producers to meet face-to-face, with an emphasis on the state’s abundant produce, specialty food products, and marketing programs.
South Carolina producers can connect with local and regional buyers from grocery stores, wholesalers, and restaurants.
Held at Columbia Metropolitan Convention Center on March 21, 2024.
The Showcase grew out of the successful Grower Buyer Mashup series.
The evening before, on March 20, we will hold The Taste of South Carolina, a networking reception featuring Certified South Carolina hors d’oeuvres, sponsored by Arbor One and AgSouth Farm Credit. The Taste was formerly held each January during the SC AgriBiz and Farm Expo in Florence. Taste registration is separate.
Trade show registration is affordable: $45 for exhibitors, $20 for additional booth staff, and $20 for non-exhibitor attendees. Includes tradeshow, keynote lunch, educational sessions.
Visit agriculture.sc.gov/showcase for the full agenda, hotel information, and registration.
