SCDA Partnering with SC State Fair to Teach Kids About Agriculture

South Carolina Department of Agriculture is partnering with the South Carolina State Fair in an interactive website game "Field to Fair" to teach children about agriculture.  SC Ag Commissioner Hugh Weathers says that this goes towards their goal of educating the public about where their food comes from.

The series of games such as "My American Farm", "Harvest This!", "Amazing Grains", and many more are specifically designed for Pre-K through 5th grade.  When each level is completed, the participant will recieve a stamp, and during the State Fair in October those stamps can be redeemed for prizes at the fair.
