SC Ag Commissioner Concerned over EPA Regulations

SC Ag Commissioner Hugh Weathers is watching closely the Guidance Document to the clean Water Act that attempts to establish regulatory control over ALL waters.  In recent years the EPA has circumvented Congress and issued their own mandates some of which have been struck down in litigation.

If the latest Guidance Document from EPA concerning bodies of water is approved, it could spell disaster for farming, and Commissioner Weathers is suggesting that those with a vested interest keep an eye on Senate bill 2245 and House bill 4965 which will derail this latest action from EPA.
