Ag Secretary Sonny Perdue has been on the job for a little more than a year now, and what a year it has been in the industry. Perdue has been a tireless advocate of agriculture during his first twelve months, both across the country and around the world. And his first year in Washington has also seen the opening of Argentina to US pork, continuing NAFTA negotiations, markup of a new farm bill, and beginnings of a trade war with China.
Last week, Perdue talked with farm broadcasters, including SFN’s Mike Davis, about President Trump’s trade initiatives, the farm bill, and more.
