N.C. Cooperative Extension Announces Research-Backed Disaster Website

NC State Extension, part of N.C. Cooperative Extension, has developed a disaster website to help private citizens, businesses, and farmers as they deal with the aftermath of Hurricane Florence.

The website, https://ncdisaster.ces.ncsu.edu/, offers up-to-date, research-backed information on flood and hurricane recovery from NC State Extension specialists and N.C. Cooperative Extension agents.

The site also publishes important information from partners in emergency and disaster recovery across the state such as the N.C. Department of Public Safety, the N.C. Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services, and others. Site content covers diverse subject matter relating to hurricane recovery efforts from how to clean and repair a flooded home, to food safety and sanitation, to disaster-related financial resources for individuals, businesses, agribusinesses, and farms, and much more.
