 SC Farm Report on Tuesday
   Cattle at SC Auctions on Monday:  Feeder cattle steady to 6.00 higher.  Feeder 
steers: Medium and Large 1-2 400-500 lbs 132.00-145.00; 500-600 lbs 115.00-135.00. 
Feeder bulls: 400-500 lbs 123.00-145.00; 500-600 lbs 117.00-132.00.  Feeder heifers: 
400-500 lbs 118.00-135.00; 500-600 lbs 114.00-127.00.  Slaughter cows and bulls 
steady to 3.00 higher.  Breakers 75-80% lean 75.50-85.00; Boners 80-85% lean 76.00-
84.50; Lean 85-90% lean 70.00-75.50. Cow/Calf Pairs: Medium and Large 1-2 735-1090 lbs 
young to middle age cows with 100-400 lbs calves 1125.00-1500.00 per pair.  Small and 
Medium 1-2 640-855 lbs young to middle age cows with 210-360 lbs calves 985.00-1225.00 
per pair.
   Hogs on Monday. Plant delivered weighted average. National direct Barrows & Gilts 
US 1 50-54% lean 240-300 lbs 69.62, up 1.28.  Sows live price 300-450 lbs 56.04, 
450-500 lbs 58.74, 500-550 lbs 59.67.
   SC Grain on Tuesday. Corn was 10 cents lower, processor bids 6.60-7.23.  Soybeans 
were 13 cents higher, elevator bids 13.88-14.98, processor bid 15.08.  New crop Wheat 
was 5 to 10 cents higher, elevator bids 5.30-6.55.
   Cotton on Tuesday. Southeast base price for 41-4/34 grade was at 82.36, down 1.92.  
   Fruits & Vegetables: Prices paid to SC growers at the Columbia State Farmers Market 
on Tuesday.  Beets dz bnchs 16.00; Broccoli 20 lb ctns Crown Cut 16.00; Cucumbers 
bucrts Pickles sml-med 30.00; Greens dz bchs Collards/ Mustard/Turnips 15.00, ctns
