EPA Administrator Visits South Carolina Farmers

On Monday, South Carolina Ag Commissioner Hugh Weathers hosted EPA Administrator Scott Pruitt and stakeholders across the spectrum regarding the re-write of the now dead Waters of the US Rule.

Pruitt and his team wanted to hear from farmers, and others about what they felt WOTUS should cover, and legally call a ‘Waters of the US’.  The WOTUS rule we’ve known for almost two years now, is dead, but by court order has to be replaced.  Pruitt has a plan to re-write the rule, once again, in about two years.
