DuPont Pioneer is hosting two field days in South Carolina next week, one on Monday, and the second on Thursday. The official host of Thursday’s event is Tom Baugh, territory manager for DuPont Pioneer in South Carolina:
“It will be at Tolson Farms in South Carolina at 4:30 pm on Aug 8th.”
Baugh outlines some of the corn hybrids that will be demonstrated at the field day:
“The corn hybrids we will be looking at are: 1303, 1498, 1636 and 1690 which are due out this year.”
And the traits in the hybrids that Baugh mentioned that will be demonstrated:
“there are several things including new insect technology – the optimum intrasect technology as well as the BVT. We will also be showcasing the Aquamax drought tolerant hybrids.”
Soybean hybrids will also be demonstrated at the field day says Baugh:
“We will be talking about the new T Series soybeans including the variety 54T94.”
Baugh outlines the plans for the field tour:
“We will spend a few minutes going over some technology updates then tour the corn and soybean plots in the field. We will follow up with an agronomy update.”
The field day will be at the Tolson Farms at 120 Tolson Road in Lynchburg, South Carolina.
