Canada Invited to TPP Talks

The countries involved in the Trans-Pacific Partnership negotiations have now invited Canada to join the talks. The National Cattlemen's Beef Association welcomed the news – noting Canada is the top export market for U.S. beef. NCBA Vice President Bob McCan says the strong trade relationship with Canada has been a win-win for cattlemen and consumers in both countries. He says Canada's entry into TPP negotiations will only strengthen the trade relationship. According to the National Foreign Trade Council – U.S. exporters and the millions of Americans they employ stand to benefit greatly from strong North American representation in the talks.
