2012 marks the 5th annual Got to Be NC Festisval that gets underway at noon Friday at the State Fairgrounds in Raleigh.  NC Ag Commissioner Steve Troxler says the event is a fun way to celebrate the state's ag heritage, and to educate the non-farming public about agriculture.

In the Exposition Building North Carolina foods and drinks will be showcased all three days, and on Friday there will be a cook book signing by several NC cook book authors.

The Festival runs through Sunday.  For more information visit www.gottobencfestival.com.
