NCDA Offers Food Business Conference

On May 8th, North Carolina Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services will sponsor it's first-ver Food Business conference at the Alamance Cooperative Extension office in Burlington.  NC Ag Commissioner Steve Troxler explains that the marketin g event is aimed at food business ownwer lookingn to expand their businesses.  Troxler goes on to explain that food businessess are an important part of agriculture's $70 billion contribution to the state's economy.  This conference will be a great opportunity for smaller food businesses to elarn new ways to expand their operations.
