This is National Ag Week, with Thursday, March 8th being National Ag Day. national Ag Day focuses on raising awareness of the importance and abundance of agriculture in America.
North Carolina is a changing state, and our population has become less rural, and each generation is further removed from farming. So, educational efforts about ag's contributions will continue to be more and more important, espeically as we see big changes in the makeup of the legislture.
