Specialty Crops Grants Now Accpeting Applications

North Carolina's Ag Commissioner Steve Troxler says that the NC Department of Agriculture & Consumer Services is offereing grants to fund new projects to enhance the competitiveness of specialty crops in the market place.  Nearly $1.2 million will be avaialbe this year through a competitive process for projects that benefit the specialty crop industry.  The program is funded by USDA through the 2008 Farm Bill.
