On February 2, the North Carolina Department of Agriculture will host the 7th Annual Ag Forum at the NC State Fair Grounds in conjunction with the Southern Farm Show.
NC Ag Commissioner Steve Troxler invites farmers, agribusiness professionals and others to attend the event in the Holshouser Building beginning at 9:30 and running until 12:30 with a lunch.
This year's keynote speakers will be NC State Economist Mike Walden and Blake Brown, as well as a roundtable discussion on farm safety.
In addition, Commissioner Troxler will deliver his State of Agriculture address.
While the event is free of charge, the Department would like for you to register so that plans can be made for lunch at www.ncagr.gov/agforum.
