Friday marked the beginning of the annual Farm-City Week and continues through Thanksgiving Day. NC Ag Commissioner Steve Troxler explains that this is a week set aside to educate 'city folk' about farming, where their food comes from and the importance of agriculture to the state of North Carolina. Especially with redistricting, more and more government is being conducted by people that have no ties to farming, which makes it more important than ever.
