North Carolina' s Ag Commissioner Steve Troxler is concerned about new proposed regulations from the US Department of Labor that will affect people under the age of 16 working on farms, even if the farm is a family farm.
The comment period for this new rule, while having been extended by 30 days, is December 1. Commissioner Troxler says that while this is the critical harvest season, it's still very important to find the time to register a comment.
