Sunday, March 12th kicks off National Ag Week, and Tuesday, March 15th is National Ag Day. Commissioner Troxler says that National Ag Day is a great day to devote to agriculture, but every day should be Ag day. Agriculture provides the food we eat, the clothes we wear and many other things we use in our daily lives. As our biofuels industry grows, agriculture will also provide more of the fuel we use in our cars and trucks.
The Commissioner goes on to say that National Ag Week is a great time to reach out to consumers about agriculture and farmers and the rural way of life.
