NC Ag Commissioner Headed to China to Talk Trade

Next week NCDA & CS will be drumming up overseas business for North Caorlina agriculture with a trade mssion to China.  This mission will focus on tobacco, wheat, soybeans, and cotton.  All commodities will be meeting with existing and potential buyers, as well as meeting with China Tobacco which contracted to purchase more than 50 million pounds of NC tobacco during our the last trade mission in 2009.

Commissioner Troxler also says that the NCDA will be opening a trade office in Beijing, to service existing customers and take advantage of new opportunities that are arising in China every day.
