November is Sweet Potato Month In NC

November is officially Sweet Potato Month in North Carolina. NC Ag Commissioner Steve Troxler says that the state produces about 47% of the nation's sweet potatoes, and is the top producer nationwide. Nash, Sampson, Johnston, Wilson and Edgecombe are the top sweet potato producing counties in the state, dedicating about 50,000 acres to the crop. NC Sweet potatoes are available year-arounReadd.
