The state of South Carolina recently held their 2012 primary, and the election cycle has since moved to Florida, but Commissioner Hugh Weathers is pleased that agriculture is staying out of the political spotlight.  Mr. Weathers says that by staying out of the spotlight, that the news of the good agricultural economy isn't being mixed in with the not so good news of the lackluster general economy.
