Market Steer Program Premiers at 2011 SC State Fair | | | Program 6659 (download mp3)

SC Ag Commissioner Hugh Weathers is pleased that a market steer program through 4-H debuted at this year's SC State Fair last month as a companion program to the dairy heifer program that's been in place for many years.
This year's auction had nine participants, and Weathers says that the program is now a permanent part of the Fair and will surely have more participants in coming years.
