Matt and Ted Lee, Charleston chefs continue to promote Certified SC grown food products into the holiday season with Lee Brother Your Holiday. SC Ag Commissioner Hugh Weathers says the summer campaign wrapped up earlier this week with the Lee Brother Your Supper winner.
In Lee Brother Your Holiday, the commissioner explains that by going to Facebook.com/LeeBrotherYourHoliday, through November 30th, holiday recipes featuring SC products can be entered, any original holiday reciepe incorportating at least one Certfied SC Grown item will qualify.
The Lee Brothers will review all submissions and select the top five finalists from each of the categories: entrees, sides, appetizers, desserts and baked goods. These 25 finalists will have their recipes featured on printed recipe cards that will be available in participating grocery stores across the state.
In January, winners will be chosen, and the Lee brothers will prepare the recipes for the winners and their guests at the State Farmers' Market in Columbia.
