 South Carolina's county and state fairs get underway soon, and South Carolina Ag Commissioner Hugh Weathers is anxiously awaiting the Donkey and Mule Show at the SC State Fair in Columbia on October 22nd and 23rd.
The South Carolina Donkey and Mule Association was established in 1981 to connect donkey and mule lovers and to showcase these patient, talented and friendly animals. Today, the association includes members from South and North Carolina as well as Georgia.
Right now the association is looking for more donkey and mule entries for the show. Registration deadline is October 1st. Visit http://www.myscdma.com for more details and registration forms.
