South Carolina's Grain Inspection Program has relocated from Columbia to the former Gold Kist facility on Camden Road in Vance.
South Carolina's Ag Commissioner Hugh Weathers says the facility's relocation will make it more accesable to farmers and other businesses that ultilize the grading and inspection services. The Chief Grain Inspector Fred Faulk accepts samples of wheat, corn, soybeans, and other small grains, as well as fruit, vegetables, peanuts and poultry and egg grading inspection services.
