Leaders in the U.S. and Canadian governments received a letter from the Canadian Renewable Fuels Association and U.S. Renewable Fuels Association yesterday (Tuesday). The letter praises the United States-Canada Clean Energy Dialogue Action Plan II - which was released in Rio de Janeiro on June 21st - focusing on the creation of clean energy technologies to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and collaboration between countries. RFA President and CEO Bob Dinneen and CRFA President W. Scott Thurlow commend the government officials for continuing the vital partnership between the U.S. and Canada in clean energy technology development and deployment. North America produces more than 15-billion gallons of renewable fuel - which accounts for more than 100-thousand jobs, hundreds of millions of barrels of oil displacement and fewer greenhouse gas emissions - according to Dinneen and Thurlow.
