Central North Carolina Under Freeze Watch until Thursday Morning

An unseasonably cold air mass will move into North and South Carolina tonight creating freezing temperatures in some areas and areas of frost most everywhere. 

Counties that could be affected in North Carolina:

Person, Granville, Vance, Warren, Halifax, Forsyth, Guilford, Alamance, Orange, Durham, Franklin, Nash, Edgecombe, Davidson, Randolph, Chatham, Wake, Johnston, Wilson, Stanly, Montgomery, Moore, Lee Harnett, Wayne, Anson, Richmond, Scotland, Hoke, Cumberland, and Sampson.

The freeze watch remains in effect from late tonight through Thursday morning, with anticipated low temperatures 30 to 35 degrees just before sunrise Thursday morning.
