SFN:  Wilma, you're here at the Western Wake Farmers' Market and you're also a member of Piedmont Grown.  Let's talk about that Piedmont Grown a little bit:

"I joined because I know it is a collective of farmers and I'm aware of the branding that I can use to benefit my marketing plan."

SFN:  As well as benefit the marketing of all your other people as well.

"Right, I know a lot of other farmers who are also members,  and are wearing the buttons on their hats and putting their little signs out.  I think it is good brand identification for customers to know that the food is truly local and fresh!"

SFN:  Like I said, we're here at Western Wake, how many other farmers' markets do you do?

"I'm a vendor at the New Chatham Mills Farmers' Market in Pittsboro, Saturday mornings.  That's the only other one.  I'm a brand new farmer."

SFN:  Outstanding!  So is this a part time project in addition to a full time job?  "I have no other full time job, this is it, this is full time. It's my first year and I'm devoting all my time and energy into it and it's been so much fun!"
