Economic Perspective - Will Interest Rates Rise?

NCSU Economist, Dr. Mike Walden says long term interest rates of 10 or more years have been showing up...but the short term rates are very likely to increase.  As the world economy improves, global needs for infrastructure are rapidly growing and that puts pressure on the finance system for additional borrowing which will push up interest rates.
