Well, according to Fox News, scientists have created a vaccine that could prevent women from developing breast cancer. Scientists studied mice with breast cancer and gave half of the mice the vaccine and the other half a placebo vaccine. They found the breast cancer vaccine both prevented breast cancer from growing and also stopped the growth of existing tumors in the mice. If this vaccine is also successful in people, women may one day be vaccinated against breast cancer when they are in their forties. Scientists say a successful breast cancer vaccine could virtually eliminate the disease one day.
