The President and CEO of the Renewable Fuels Association, Bon Dineen, believes Congress will extend the ethanol blender’s tax credit and import tariff. Dineen told Agri-Pulse that the November election – works as much for us as it does “again” us. He remains confident something will be done.

As for making E-15 a part of this country’s fuel supply, Dineen says – there are no issues in vehicles in using a higher level of ethanol blends. However, if the Environmental Protection Agency makes E-15 available to only certain cars, Dineen says, such an action will only confuse consumers.
