In case you missed it, Arkansas Senator Blanche Lincoln, who serves as Chairman of the Senate Agriculture committee, made it past step two in the Arkansas primary this week. The Senator was forced into a runoff against her top challenger Arkansas Lieutenant Governor Bill Halter. Lincoln faces Republican Representative John Boozman in the fall. The winner will spend the next six years in Washington as the Senator from Arkansas. That race is one of the GOP’s top targets this year.
