Experts studying mice have proven that fat-rich foods cause anxiety and depression in mice, and the same may be true for people. High-fat foods cause a chemical reaction in the brain that mirrors addiction, and also causes a similar comedown. This could be why the foods we eat to feel better could actually make us feel worse.
