Recently, USDA reported that participation in quarterly ag surveys has been about 75 yo 80%, down about 5% from a decasde ago.  NC Ag Commissioner is not pleased with this trend, explaining that the data that farmers need to conduct business is tabulated from those surveys, and these numbers need to be the best numbers they can be, and the best way to get good data is to talk to a farmer.
