In his weekly visit, Commissioner Troxler discusses the new seminar series "Food Marketing In The Real World", which gets underway on March 9, 2010. The workshops are being hosted by NCDA&CS and sponsored by Carteret Community College. Each workshop will be held from 8:30 am until 4:15 pm at the college's Small Business Center in Morehead City. Each covers a variety of topics including when to make the move from part-time to professional, marketing to food service and retail, and understanding the financial considerations of expanding a business.
Each workshop cost is $30, which covers materials and lunch. The deadline for each workshop will be the week prior to the event, and space is limited for each workshop to 30 participants.
