Well, according to USA Today, pet owners have enrolled their dogs with spinal cord injuries in new experimental studies to see if a revolutionary treatment could help their injured pets. The treatment is a series of shots and scientists are hopefully it could make these dogs better, and then one day help people too. This animal research is a win-win situation that has the potential to improve the lives of these dogs and the quarter of a million people in the U.S. who are living with spinal cord injuries.
