Well, according to AFP, new research with mice could help researchers develop an effective treatment for Alzheimer’s. Scientists have found a cancer drug improved the memories of older mice that showed signs of Alzheimer’s disease. The drug helped remove plaque in the brain thought to be linked to Alzheimer’s and also made the mice smarter. This finding is important because, with more research, it could one day be possible to treat people who are showing early signs of Alzheimer’s disease.
