America’s Farmers Grow Communities Enrollment Open

America’s Farmers Grow Communities is back partnering with farmers to support the causes that mean the most to them. The program, sponsored by the Monsanto Fund, allows farmers the chance to give back to their communities. Monsanto customer advocacy manger Angela Allen says eligible farmers can enter to win a $2,500 donation to direct to a rural nonprofit organization of their choice now through November 30….

“Farmers have directed more than $19 million to thousands of community nonprofits across rural America.  Organizations such as fire departments, food pantries, FSA Chapters, 4H clubs and schools have received funding in the past. America’s Farmers Grow Communities is part of the America’s Farmers initiatives. Their campaigns and programs advocate on behalf of farmers and their efforts to meet society’s needs through agriculture.”

A native of the Texas Panhandle, Rhonda was born and raised on a cotton farm where she saw cotton farming evolve from ditch irrigation to center pivot irrigation and harvest trailers to modules.
