Agritourism in South Carolina

Agritourism in the Palmetto State has become not only a secondary source of income for family farms, but also a great vehicle to teach the non-farming community about where their food comes from.

Agritourism combines the state’s top two industries; agriculture and tourism, and fall is prime time for agritourism.  Several farms across the state offer fun filled days of activities including pick-you-own pumpkins, corn maizes, hayrides and more.


A native of the Texas Panhandle, Rhonda was born and raised on a cotton farm where she saw cotton farming evolve from ditch irrigation to center pivot irrigation and harvest trailers to modules. After graduating from Texas Tech University, she got her start in radio with KGNC News Talk 710 in Amarillo, Texas.
